Business
Element 29 Resources Inc. is a Canada-based junior resource company focused on the exploration and development of copper, molybdenum, silver, gold, lead and zinc mineral properties in Peru. The company holds a portfolio of projects spanning more than 25,000 hectares of titled concessions, including its flagship Elida porphyry copper-molybdenum-silver project with 29 mining concessions covering approximately 19,749 hectares in the province of Ocros in west-central Peru; the Flor de Cobre porphyry copper-molybdenum project comprising 11 mining concessions over approximately 2,735 hectares in southern Peru's Copper Belt, 26 km southeast of Freeport-McMoRan Inc.'s Cerro Verde mine; the Paka porphyry copper project covering about 1,000 hectares of concessions and 1,600 hectares of claims; and the Pahuay porphyry copper project spanning approximately 1,200 hectares. Founded in 2017 and headquartered at 1005-409 Granville Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Element 29 advances these properties toward potential Tier-1 mine development, leveraging Peru's established mining jurisdiction, proximity to infrastructure such as roads, powerlines, ports and water, and a skilled workforce. Recent developments include the addition of a third drill rig in October 2025 to accelerate the ongoing Phase-III resource expansion drilling program at Elida, which reported significant intercepts such as 1,039.6 metres of 0.54% copper equivalent in January 2025; closure of a $6.3 million private placement in August 2025 and a prior $3.26 million raise in 2024 to fund exploration; renewal of a five-year surface access agreement with the Elida host community expiring in 2030 to support expanded drilling on up to 40 platforms following DIA environmental approval; leadership changes with Richard Osmond assuming the roles of president and chief executive officer and Manuel Montoya joining as chief technical officer in 2024; receipt of environmental permits for Flor de Cobre drilling and a partnership with GlobeTrotters for exploration activities in March 2024; completion of magnetotelluric geophysical surveys identifying untapped anomalies at Elida in June 2025; and engagement of investor relations consultants Torrey Hills Capital in February 2025 and Stellium Service Ltd in April 2024.
