Business
Noram Lithium Corp. is a Canadian-based junior exploration and development company focused on advancing its 100%-owned Zeus Lithium Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada. The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Green Energy Resources Inc., engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of lithium resource properties, with its flagship Zeus property comprising 146 placer claims and 136 lode claims covering 1,133 hectares (2,800 acres) located approximately halfway between Las Vegas and Reno and within two kilometers of Albemarle Corporation’s Silver Peak lithium brine operations. Incorporated in 2010 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Noram targets the domestic U.S. supply of battery-grade lithium carbonate amid rising demand from electric vehicles and energy storage markets. Core assets center on the Zeus Lithium Project, which features an updated pit-constrained mineral resource estimate at a 525 ppm lithium cut-off, including indicated resources of 564 million tonnes grading 956 ppm lithium (2.9 million tonnes LCE) and inferred resources of 287 million tonnes at 861 ppm lithium (1.3 million tonnes LCE); the deposit supports a potential 29-year mine life at high/medium grades plus 18 years of low-grade processing at 3.5 million tonnes per year, with metallurgical recoveries of 89% lithium via sulphuric acid leaching and beneficiation rejecting 10% mass and 40% acid-consuming calcite. Noram advances process development including feed preparation, leaching, neutralization, filtration, and purification to battery-quality lithium carbonate (~23,000 tonnes per year), bolstered by recent discovery of significant cesium and rubidium levels in Zeus drill assays, positioning these critical metals as high-value by-products for electronics, telecommunications, and medical applications. Recent developments include an updated mineral resource estimate in June 2024 incorporating Phase VII drilling (January 2024), geological modeling, and 167 density measurements to delineate a high-grade core over 50% above average resource grade for preliminary economic assessment and engineering studies; the company completed full assay reviews in August 2025 highlighting cesium and rubidium potential amid U.S. critical minerals priorities. In February 2022, Noram closed a US$14 million strategic financing with Lithium Royalty Corp. (1.0% GOR on Zeus for US$5 million) and Waratah Capital Advisors (US$9 million equity), boosting treasury to ~CDN$18 million debt-free to fund feasibility efforts. Noram held its 2024 annual general meeting, adopted an omnibus incentive plan, and continues metallurgical testing to validate flowsheets without recent acquisitions, partnerships, or reorganizations beyond these advancements.
