Business
Skeena Resources Limited is a Canadian precious metals company actively engaged in the exploration and development of high-grade gold and silver assets in British Columbia's prolific Golden Triangle. The company is primarily focused on advancing its two flagship projects: the Eskay Creek gold-silver mine and the Snip gold project. Skeena holds 100% ownership of the Eskay Creek project, a renowned past-producing mine, which is positioned to become one of the world's highest-grade and lowest-cost open-pit precious metals operations with significant silver by-product potential. The company recently completed a definitive feasibility study for Eskay Creek in late 2023, outlining robust economics and targeting initial production by 2027. Additionally, Skeena fully owns the high-grade Snip gold project, also a former producer, for which an updated mineral resource estimate was released in September 2023. Skeena is evaluating Snip as a potential satellite operation to extend the Eskay Creek mine life and enhance concentrate grades. The company is well-financed, having secured a substantial project funding package for Eskay Creek and recently undertaking a C$125 million financing to support its ongoing development and permitting efforts in collaboration with Indigenous communities. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Skeena Resources was incorporated in 1979.
