- TKM Grupp AS (formerly Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp AS) is an Estonia-based retail, automotive, real estate, and service conglomerate engaged in grocery and department store merchandising, automotive import and retail, security services, commercial property management, and consumer finance across the Baltic region. Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, the company operates as a publicly traded subsidiary of NG Investeeringud OÜ, serving both retail consumers and commercial clients across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
The company operates through five primary business segments: Supermarkets, Department Stores, Car Trade, Security, and Real Estate. The Supermarkets segment manages nationwide grocery retail through the Selver supermarket and hypermarket network, Delice gourmet food stores, and the E-Selver e-commerce platform; it also includes Kulinaaria OÜ, the largest central commercial kitchen in the Baltics, which manufactures ready-to-eat meals, deli products, baked goods, and prepared foods. The Department Stores segment operates Kaubamaja department stores in Tallinn and Tartu alongside associated digital retail platforms, retailing premium fashion, apparel, cosmetics, footwear, homeware, and children's goods, as well as the I.L.U. specialized beauty and cosmetics retail chain. The Car Trade segment encompasses the import, wholesale distribution, retail sales, warranty servicing, and aftermarket maintenance of passenger and commercial vehicles across the Baltic states, representing brands including Kia, Škoda, Peugeot, and Cadillac through regional dealerships and subsidiaries including KIA Auto AS, Viking Motors AS, Forum Auto SIA, and SIA Verte Auto. The Security segment, operating via Viking Security AS, provides manned guarding; remote video and alarm monitoring; technical security systems design, installation, and maintenance; cash-in-transit management; and inventory auditing services. The Real Estate segment manages, develops, and leases commercial properties and shopping centers, including the Tartu Kaubamaja Centre and Viimsi Centre, alongside logistics assets and parking infrastructure. Additionally, the group operates TKM Finants AS, offering consumer credit, installments, and payment solutions centered on the Partner Card loyalty program.
In March 2024, the company executed a strategic corporate reorganization and officially changed its name from Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp AS to TKM Grupp AS to reflect its diversified multi-industry portfolio beyond its original department store roots. In March 2026, the group expanded its automotive footprint by acquiring 100% shareholdings in Rohe Auto AS, SKO Motors OÜ, and SKO Motors Kinnisvara OÜ via its subsidiary TKM Auto OÜ, securing official Škoda dealership rights across Tallinn and Harju County to scale vehicle distribution and aftermarket operations. Over the recent operational period, the group has also expanded its security division through selective acquisitions and consolidations, while accelerating digitalization investments across automated self-checkout infrastructure, specialized logistics facilities, and unified omnichannel platforms.
