Chart Industries, Inc. is a global leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing highly specialized equipment for the industrial gas and clean energy sectors. The company operates through distinct segments: Cryo Tank Solutions, Heat Transfer Systems, Specialty Products, and Repair, Service & Leasing. Its Cryo Tank Solutions segment delivers a range of cryogenic solutions for the storage, distribution, vaporization, and application of various industrial gases, including hydrogen and liquefied natural gas. This encompasses microbulk and mobile units, along with larger cryogenic trailers, ISO containers, and bulk storage tanks, facilitating virtual pipeline applications for LNG and supporting standard liquefaction plants. The Heat Transfer Systems segment provides crucial process technology, liquefaction trains, and specialized equipment for LNG facilities, spanning from compact to expansive base-load export operations. This includes brazed aluminum heat exchangers, cold boxes, air-cooled units, pressure vessels, and piping utilized in gas processing, power generation, HVAC, and refining applications. The Specialty Products segment focuses on innovative equipment tailored for diverse end markets, such as hydrogen, carbon dioxide capture, biogas, food and beverage, aerospace, and water treatment. Chart also offers essential cryogenic components, including vacuum insulated piping, specialized liquid nitrogen systems, and advanced cryogenic flow meters. Complementing its product offerings, the Repair, Service & Leasing segment delivers comprehensive support through extended warranties, plant commissioning, spare parts, continuous technical assistance, monitoring, process optimization, repair, maintenance, upgrading, and equipment leasing services across its global network. Chart Industries is actively driving the global clean energy transition, particularly with its solutions for hydrogen, LNG, and carbon capture. Recently, Chart Industries' shareholders approved a significant acquisition by Baker Hughes, a transaction anticipated to finalize by mid-2026. The company, which traces its roots to 1859, maintains its headquarters in Ball Ground, Georgia.
