It also engages in international trading activities and operates an urban pipeline network of approximately 789 kilometres of mid-pressure pipelines under an exclusive 30-year concession covering about 70% of Gaomi City's administrative area, serving 154,854 residential, 374 industrial and 5,131 commercial piped natural gas end-users as of December 2024. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Gaomi City, the company focuses on the regulated gas utilities sector with 154 employees and targets retail and wholesale customers in its operating area. In 2024, Jy Gas received insurance compensation related to a prior natural gas explosion incident, recorded a gain from the disposal of shares in Seacon Shipping Group Holdings Limited, closed one low-margin gas refuelling station in October, advanced government-subsidised clean energy projects connecting over 5,500 rural households to its network using IPO proceeds, extended the timeline for utilisation of remaining net proceeds from its 2022 listing to 2026 for pipeline expansions, upgrades and meter replacements, declared a final dividend of HK$0.037 per share for the year ended 31 December 2024, and reported revenue of RMB370.4 million with net profit attributable to owners of RMB30.0 million despite economic challenges impacting industrial demand.
