Dragon Mining Limited (1712.HK) engages in gold exploration, mining, processing and sales primarily in the Nordic region through operations in Finland and Sweden. The company operates the Vammala Production Centre in Finland, which includes a 300,000 tons per annum crushing, milling and flotation plant processing ore from the Jokisivu, Orivesi and Kaapelinkulma gold mines as well as the Uunimaki gold project to produce 21,000 to 30,000 ounces of gold concentrate annually; and the Svartliden Production Centre in Sweden featuring a 300,000 tons per annum carbon-in-leach plant treating ore from the Svartliden and Faboliden gold mines to yield gold bullion. Incorporated in 1990 and headquartered at Unit 202, Level 2, 39 Mends Street, South Perth, Western Australia 6151, Australia, Dragon Mining employs approximately 60 people and reports through wholly-owned subsidiaries Dragon Mining Oy in Finland and Dragon Mining AB in Sweden with maximum revenue derived from Sweden. Recent developments include APAC Resources Limited's ongoing proposal announced in March 2025 to acquire the remaining 70.35% stake for approximately HKD 245 million, positioning APAC Resources to own 100% of the company subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals with the offer extended to close on August 8, 2025; a September 2025 agreement to acquire a key mining contractor business in Finland to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs at the Jokisivu mine; and completion of a HKD 172.8 million private placement of 31.6 million new shares at HKD 5.61 each.
