Asia Energy Logistics Group Limited is an investment holding company principally engaged in shipping and logistics, telecommunications related business, and e-commerce trading; it operates one dry bulk carrier with a carrying capacity of approximately 32,000 DWT for the international transportation of dry bulk cargoes, provides short message service (SMS) and 5G communication network solutions primarily in the People's Republic of China (PRC), and conducts e-commerce trading of computer products in the PRC. Incorporated in 1991 and headquartered at Suite 802-803, 8/F, One Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong, the company serves customers worldwide in shipping and logistics while targeting PRC markets for its telecommunications and e-commerce segments. In May 2024, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary entered into an agreement to dispose of its second dry bulk carrier, M/V Clipper Panorama, to an independent third party for US$9.5 million, with the transaction completed in August 2024, resulting in the vessel's results being classified as discontinued operations and reducing the fleet to one vessel. The e-commerce trading business commenced in the fourth quarter of 2024, contributing revenue of approximately HK$5.95 million in the first half of 2025; telecommunications revenue grew 264% year-over-year to HK$8.88 million due to new customers, though with a gross loss; and shipping revenue declined 28% to HK$14.79 million amid lower charter rates, offset by higher gross profit from improved occupancy and reduced maintenance costs.
