- BAF Viet Nam Agriculture Joint Stock Company operates as a vertically integrated agricultural and food processing enterprise in Vietnam, specializing in the closed-loop Feed-Farm-Food (3F) value chain model. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the company conducts its business across animal feed manufacturing, high-tech swine farming, meat processing, food distribution, and agricultural commodity trading. The company's core product and service portfolio comprises animal feed production, including complete compound feeds, premixes, and proprietary vegetarian-formulated bio-feeds free of animal meal and antibiotic growth promoters; industrial livestock farming operations, offering commercial live hogs, high-health grandparent and parent breeding stock, and weaned piglets raised in biosecure, climate-controlled environments; food processing and consumer retail offerings, providing fresh chilled pork cuts, portioned primal cuts, processed meat items, and value-added pork products sold under the BAF Meat and Heo An Chay brand names across the proprietary Siba Food convenience store chain, BaF Meat meat shops, third-party modern supermarkets, and institutional food service channels; and agricultural raw material trading, encompassing the import, storage, and wholesale distribution of feed ingredients including corn, soybean meal, wheat, dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS), and cassava. BAF Viet Nam Agriculture maintains an expansive domestic operational footprint across Vietnam, with major feed manufacturing mills, modern mega-farm clusters, and logistics facilities situated throughout key agricultural provinces such as Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak. In recent operational and strategic developments, the company entered into a comprehensive technology transfer and strategic equipment partnership with Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. to implement advanced multi-story swine housing facilities, intelligent automated feeding systems, biosecurity infrastructure, and modern environmental control systems. Additionally, the company secured substantial multi-tranche funding packages and convertible bond investments from international development finance institutions, notably the International Finance Corporation (IFC), to finance the development of modern swine farm facilities, slaughtering and meat processing centers, and bio-feed production mills. The company has also systematically expanded its downstream commercial presence through the continued rollout of Siba Food retail outlets and meat distribution points across urban centers, reinforcing its end-to-end traceability from farm to table.
