- PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution Joint Stock Company (PV GAS D) is a Vietnam-based energy distribution company primarily engaged in the transportation, marketing, and distribution of low-pressure natural gas, compressed natural gas, and liquefied natural gas for industrial consumption. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the company operates as a key subsidiary of PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV GAS) under the state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam). The company specializes in the wholesale and retail distribution of piped low-pressure natural gas via dedicated industrial pipeline networks; the trading and supply of compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG); the engineering, design, procurement, installation, and operation of gas distribution infrastructure, city gate stations (CGS), and pressure reducing stations (PRS); and the provision of technical consulting, energy efficiency audits, maintenance, repair, and safety inspection services for specialized industrial gas equipment and combustion systems. PV GAS D primarily caters to manufacturing enterprises across heavy and light industries, including ceramics, construction materials, metallurgy, chemicals, electronics, and food and beverage processing, operating across major industrial clusters in the Southern Economic Region, such as Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An, and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as the Northern Economic Region, including Thai Binh and adjacent provinces. In recent developments, the company has expanded its commercial portfolio to integrate imported LNG distribution sourced from the parent company's Thi Vai LNG Terminal, deploying both pipeline gas and ISO tank distribution models to industrial customers to offset domestic field depletion and support corporate decarbonization targets. Furthermore, PV GAS D has established strategic fuel conversion partnerships with major industrial manufacturers, upgraded smart metering and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems across its gas grid, and extended its pipeline network into new master-planned industrial parks to accommodate growing clean energy demand.
