Business
PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk is an Indonesia-based integrated media and entertainment company engaged in the production, distribution, and exhibition of motion pictures, television programming, and digital entertainment content. The company operates across four core business segments: Production, Distribution, Cinema Exhibition, and Other Media Services. Its core products and services include the production of theatrical feature films across diverse genres, television dramas and soap operas, web series, and telefilms for commercial television broadcasters and digital streaming services; the acquisition, licensing, and distribution of domestic and international motion pictures, including Hollywood, Bollywood, and Asian titles, across theatrical circuits, free-to-air broadcast networks, pay-television channels, and over-the-top video-on-demand platforms; the operation of a modern multi-screen cinema chain under the Platinum Cineplex brand, targeting commercial hubs and underserved secondary cities; the commercialization and syndication of an extensive proprietary intellectual property library comprising thousands of hours of legacy and contemporary film and television titles; and digital content monetization, artist management, and branded entertainment integration. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, the company operates across Indonesia as well as international markets in Southeast Asia, including cinema operations and content syndication in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Timor-Leste. In recent developments, the company completed its initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol RAAM in May 2023 to finance production infrastructure and accelerate cinema circuit development. In 2024, the company forged a major strategic alliance with leading media conglomerate PT Surya Citra Media Tbk, an affiliate of Emtek Group, through a significant equity investment and long-term content partnership designed to supply exclusive film and serial content to the Vidio streaming platform and terrestrial networks. Additionally, the company has expanded its direct-to-OTT production pipeline in partnership with global video streaming providers, while systematically increasing its regional Platinum Cineplex theater footprint across Indonesia.
