Founded in 1918 and headquartered in Cruzeiro, Brazil, Iochpe-Maxion operates 32 to 33 manufacturing plants across 14 countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, serving original equipment manufacturers with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and proximity to customer facilities. Recent developments include securing R$357.3 million in long-term financing from FINEP in 2025 to fund innovation projects over four years, targeting new materials and processes for electric and low-emission vehicles, digital transformation, automation, AI optimization, vehicle monitoring solutions, and conversion kits for combustion vehicles to electric; announcing in November 2025 a strategic expansion of light vehicle aluminum wheels capacity in South America via redeployment of global assets to Brazil and a planned 50.1% acquisition in Argentina's Polimetal, though later paused; and reporting net revenue growth to R$15.3 billion in 2024 with improved EBITDA margins driven by operational efficiencies and sustainability initiatives.
