The Engineering & Construction Group specializes in high-profile building projects including skyscrapers such as Burj Khalifa, Petronas Towers, and Taipei 101, civil infrastructure like roads, bridges, Riyadh Metro, and Busan Newport, power plants encompassing conventional, nuclear, and LNG facilities such as UAE Nuclear Power Complex, and housing developments under the Raemian brand. The Trading & Investment Group engages in global trading of industrial commodities including chemicals, steel, energy resources, and materials, alongside investments in renewable energy projects like wind/solar clusters and battery energy storage systems. The Fashion Group offers apparel brands such as Beanpole (including Beanpole Kids, Outdoor, and accessories), Galaxy, KUHO/LeBeige, Juun.J, and fast-fashion label 8 Seconds, complemented by online operations via SSF Shop and designer support through Samsung Fashion Design Fund. The Resort Group manages Everland theme park, Caribbean Bay water park, premium golf courses including Anyang Country Club and Gapyeong Benest, landscaping services, and food/beverage operations. Founded in 1938 as the original Samsung company and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung C&T maintains operations across approximately 45 countries with 126 offices worldwide, serving infrastructure developers, commodity buyers, fashion consumers, and leisure markets. In recent developments, Samsung C&T formed a strategic collaboration with GRAIL in October 2025, alongside Samsung Electronics investing $110 million to commercialize the Galleri multi-cancer early detection test in South Korea with potential expansion to Japan and Singapore. The company established a joint venture with NEOM in December 2024 for over SAR 1.3 billion in construction robotics deployment, expanded partnership with HiTHIUM in January 2025 for global energy storage projects totaling around 10GWh capacity, and signed an MOU with eREX in October 2025 for battery energy storage systems in Japan. Additionally, Samsung C&T secured a KRW 1.9 trillion contract in November 2025 for a carbon compression and transport facility in Qatar, unveiled an AI Native construction roadmap targeting full AI integration by 2028, and announced executive reshuffles for 2026 leadership transitions.
