Business
ABCO Electronics Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based electronic component manufacturer specializing in the development, production, and distribution of passive electronic components and printed circuit boards. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates primarily through two business segments: the Passive Components Division and the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Division, which includes operations through its subsidiary, ABCO CB Co., Ltd. The company provides hardware solutions to global manufacturers in the consumer electronics, telecommunications, enterprise computing, and automotive industries. The company's product and service offerings comprise: passive electronic components, including metal composite power inductors, thin-film power inductors, wire-wound power inductors, multilayer chip inductors, radio frequency (RF) chip inductors, and choke coils; fixed and variable resistors, including thick-film chip resistors, thin-film high-precision resistors, current-sensing low-resistance shunt resistors, surge-resistant resistors, lead-type resistors, and cement resistors; automotive-grade passive components qualified under AEC-Q200 standards for use in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), powertrain management, electric vehicle battery management systems (BMS), and in-vehicle infotainment; and printed circuit boards, including multilayer boards (MLB), high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs, and specialized circuit substrates tailored for memory modules, mobile handsets, and digital display panels. ABCO Electronics conducts research, development, and mass manufacturing operations across production facilities located in South Korea, China, and Vietnam. The company distributes its products to domestic and international original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), electronic manufacturing services (EMS) providers, and semiconductor producers across East Asia, North America, and Europe. In recent developments, ABCO Electronics has advanced its high-value component offerings by commercializing and mass-producing metal composite power inductors engineered for power management integrated circuits (PMICs) integrated into DDR5 server and personal computing memory modules. The company has also expanded its line of AEC-Q200 automotive-certified inductors and current sensors to address expanding requirements in electric vehicle electronics. In addition, ABCO Electronics has strengthened its global manufacturing base through capacity enhancements and automation at its production hub in Vietnam, while optimizing operations and product mix within its PCB division to support demand for high-density enterprise server and memory board applications.
