Founded in 1973 as Seohung Industrial Co., Ltd. and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company previously operated under names including Unidus, Biogenetics, and BLADE Entertainment CO., LTD. In recent strategic developments, the company officially rebranded from Blade Entertainment to Billions Co., Ltd. in June 2024 to reflect its expanded corporate focus. Over the last two years, the organization has undertaken extensive corporate restructuring and consolidation to strengthen its entertainment ecosystem, completing mergers with talent agencies Star Village Entertainment and J-Flex Entertainment, absorbing internal media units including Blade Music Co., Ltd., Blade Creative Co., Ltd., and Blade Media, and integrating its production subsidiary XYG Studio.
