Business
YMC Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based technology company engaged in the development, manufacturing, and servicing of electronic materials, precision process components, and turnkey engineering solutions for the flat panel display and semiconductor industries. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, the company operates across two primary business divisions: Materials and Process Components, and Engineering Services. The company's core product and service portfolio encompasses sputtering target materials, including planar and cylindrical rotary targets fabricated from copper, aluminum, titanium, molybdenum, and indium tin oxide used for thin-film deposition in display and semiconductor manufacturing; backing plates and specialized target bonding, debonding, and material reclamation services; precision process parts and consumable hardware, such as showerheads, diffusers, electrostatic chucks, chamber liners, and upper and lower electrode assemblies for chemical vapor deposition and dry etch equipment; and advanced ceramic, quartz, and silicon parts designed for high-density plasma and corrosive processing environments. Through its Engineering Services division, the company provides comprehensive fab solutions, including the precision decommissioning, disassembly, refurbishment, modification, cleanroom packing, and turnkey relocation of large-scale display and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. YMC Co., Ltd. serves leading global display panel makers and semiconductor device fabricators across South Korea, China, the United States, and other international markets, supported by specialized domestic production facilities and overseas subsidiaries. In recent strategic developments, the company has actively diversified its revenue base by expanding its semiconductor component operations, advancing the commercialization and mass production of high-precision electrostatic chucks, advanced surface treatments, and plasma-resistant ceramic parts to support domestic supply chain localization. Concurrently, YMC Co., Ltd. has strengthened its engineering and equipment logistics business by securing and executing major industrial dismantling and line transition projects for primary display manufacturers reallocating legacy liquid crystal display fab infrastructure toward next-generation organic light-emitting diode and quantum-dot production lines.
