Kuwait Hotels Company K.S.C.P. is a Kuwait-based hospitality, catering, and support services holding company engaged in the investment, development, ownership, and management of hotels, resorts, food service operations, and commercial facilities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Founded in 1962 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates across three primary business segments: Hospitality Management, Institutional Catering, and Support Services. Through its principal hotel management subsidiary, Safir Hotels & Resorts, the company oversees a regional portfolio of four- and five-star properties under the Safir brand and independent flags across Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Syria, and Iraq. Its core hospitality offerings encompass full-scale hotel and resort management; lodging, guest accommodations, and suite rentals; food and beverage operations, including fine-dining restaurants, cafes, and banquet facilities; conference, convention, and event hosting services; recreational amenities, health clubs, and beachfront facilities; and hotel asset management, technical advisory, and hospitality consultancy. In the catering sector, Kuwait Hotels Company operates through Kuwait Catering Company and Safat Catering Services Company, delivering industrial, institutional, and commercial food solutions with a daily production capacity exceeding 40,000 meals. Its catering operations include contract meal preparation, dietary menu design, and kitchen management for government ministries, public and private hospitals, academic institutions, military installations, and remote industrial and oil sector sites; corporate and private event catering; and commercial food distribution. Through Safir Support Services Company, the company provides facilities support services, including administrative and IT infrastructure support; general building cleaning, hygiene, and janitorial services; and professional manpower supply and hospitality staffing solutions. In recent developments, Kuwait Hotels Company has accelerated its regional expansion through asset-light hotel management agreements and strategic alliances. Safir Hotels & Resorts marked its entry into the Iraqi market by securing a management agreement with Hariri Building & Contracting Co. to operate a five-star hotel property in Erbil. In Egypt, the company signed an operations and management contract with Blom Real Estate Development Company for the Safir Blom Sohag Hotel in Akhmim, following the operational launch of the Safir Marsa Matrouh Resort under a long-term management contract. Additionally, the company strengthened its footprint in the Gulf region by renewing its long-term management and operation agreement for the Safir Doha Hotel in Qatar with the Real Estate Services Group. These strategic contract additions follow the realignment of the company's shareholder structure following the divestment of United Real Estate Company's stake, enabling Kuwait Hotels Company to focus on autonomous regional expansion across third-party hotel management contracts, industrial food services, and integrated facility support across the MENA hospitality sector.
