- Soor Fuel Marketing Company K.S.C.P. is a Kuwait-based public shareholding enterprise primarily engaged in the downstream retail and commercial marketing of petroleum products, automotive care solutions, and related retail property leasing. Founded in 2006 as part of the privatization of the state-owned retail fuel network and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates an extensive nationwide network of service stations under the Alfa brand. The company operates through two core business segments: Fuel Marketing and Station Services, and Real Estate and Investment Operations.
The company provides a comprehensive portfolio of petroleum products and automotive retail services comprising retail motor fuels, including Premium (91 Octane), Super (95 Octane), and Ultra (98 Octane) gasoline; commercial and automotive diesel fuel and illuminating kerosene; branded automotive lubricants, synthetic motor oils, transmission fluids, and industrial greases; automated car wash, manual wash, and detailing services; express vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tire repair and balancing, battery replacement, and fluid checks; bulk wholesale fuel distribution and mobile tanker refueling services for industrial contractors, commercial fleets, construction companies, and government entities; and specialized fleet fuel management solutions, featuring RFID vehicle tags, Alfa Smart Cards, prepaid and postpaid corporate fuel management cards, and centralized digital billing systems. In addition to direct petroleum sales, the company generates non-fuel retail revenue by leasing retail space across its station network to third-party convenience stores, drive-thru fast-food restaurants, specialty coffee shops, automotive accessory stores, and automated teller machine (ATM) banking kiosks. The company conducts real estate management and station property development through its subsidiary, Soor National Real Estate Company.
In recent operations, Soor Fuel Marketing has advanced a multi-year service station modernization program across Kuwait, upgrading forecourt layouts, expanding fuel dispensing capacities, and installing advanced vapor recovery and environmental monitoring systems. To address the transition toward sustainable transportation, the company has integrated electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging infrastructure across key highway and urban service stations and initiated rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) installations to power station auxiliary operations. Furthermore, the company has expanded its non-fuel retail partnerships through long-term commercial lease agreements with regional food and beverage operators, enhanced its digital ecosystem with contactless mobile payment integrations and automated station management platforms, and upgraded its corporate B2B fleet tracking services to improve fuel dispatch logistics and commercial client reporting.
