Business
Vimi Fasteners S.p.A. designs, engineers, and manufactures high-precision mechanical fastening systems and specialized components for high-stress industrial applications. The company operates across multiple industrial sectors, primarily serving automotive, commercial vehicle, motorsport, aerospace, energy, oil and gas, and general industrial equipment markets. Its core product portfolio includes high-strength engineered screws, such as connecting rod screws, cylinder head bolts, flywheel screws, exhaust system screws, and turbocharger fasteners; custom-designed bolts, studs, and specialty nuts; hot-forged and cold-formed structural fasteners; turbine shafts, pins, and precision-turned metal parts; and corrosion-resistant fasteners fabricated from carbon steels, alloy steels, austenitic, martensitic, and precipitation-hardening stainless steels, nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys, titanium, and aluminum alloys. In addition to component manufacturing, the company provides comprehensive engineering and technical services, including collaborative co-design and co-engineering with original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers; prototyping and rapid sampling; mechanical, metallurgical, and non-destructive laboratory testing; in-house heat treatment; specialized surface finishing and coatings; and supply chain management solutions. In recent strategic developments, Vimi Fasteners S.p.A. has executed targeted operational and portfolio actions to diversify revenue streams beyond traditional automotive powertrains into high-margin segments including aerospace, renewable energy, and infrastructure. The company completed the acquisition of 100% of Filostamp S.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of custom screws, bolts, and precision metal small parts, expanding the group manufacturing capacity, tooling capabilities, and commercial reach within automotive and general industrial sectors. This complements the group specialized subsidiary, MF Inox S.r.l., which produces hot-forged fasteners and high-nickel alloy components for the energy, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries. Furthermore, the company initiated an international strategic scouting and partnership program across key industrial hubs in Asia, North America, and Europe to strengthen supply chain integration, expand commercial contracts in heavy-duty and industrial machinery, and scale capacity for EN 9100-certified aerospace applications and lightweight titanium fasteners. Founded in 1967 and headquartered in Novellara, Italy, Vimi Fasteners S.p.A. is listed on the Euronext Growth Milan exchange under the ticker symbol VIM. The company operates manufacturing and logistics facilities in Italy alongside direct commercial operations and technical sales offices supporting clients throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.
