Business
PJSC Nizhnekamskshina manufactures and sells rubber tires and inner tubes primarily in Russia. The company produces over 250 models of passenger car and light truck tires under the KAMA and Viatti brands, as well as tires for trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, and industrial applications; it supplies original equipment tires to automakers including Fiat, Volkswagen, Skoda, and Ford. Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, the company operates as a subsidiary of OOO Tatneft-Neftekhim Management Company and ranks as Russia's largest tire producer and among the top 40 global tire companies. In recent developments, PJSC Nizhnekamskshina underwent a major ownership shift as Tatneft withdrew from its capital in 2022, transferring shares to JSC Tatneftekhiminvest-holding; the company reported full-year 2024 earnings results in early 2025 and acquired an additional 3.95% stake in a related entity. It maintains operations focused on the domestic market and CIS countries through modern R&D and production facilities, including its in-house KAMA research center.
