Kunlun Energy maintains a strategic focus on domestic and international resources and markets, providing safe gas supply and integrated energy solutions to residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation customers while advancing green initiatives such as 57 photovoltaic projects generating 7.89 million kWh annually in 2024 and 15 gas-fired power projects totaling 11.14 million kilowatts capacity. Recent developments include the July 2025 agreement by its wholly-owned subsidiary PetroChina Kunlun to sell a 51% equity interest in Tianjin Compression Company, which operates CNG and LNG refueling stations, to PetroChina for RMB 12.7 million, allowing Kunlun Energy to retain a minority stake, realize equity value, and reallocate resources toward core urban gas distribution and sales to boost market share and efficiency.
