Business
Faraday Copper Corp. Faraday Copper Corp. (TSX:FDY) is a Canadian exploration-stage company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of copper mineral properties in the United States; it holds 100% interest in the flagship Copper Creek project, a large undeveloped porphyry copper deposit spanning approximately 73 square kilometers of private land, patented and unpatented mining claims, and state prospecting permits in Pinal County, Arizona, and the Contact Copper project, comprising 155 patented claims covering about 2,650 acres and 219 unpatented claims across roughly 3,285 acres in Elko County, Nevada. Copper Creek features over 400 mapped breccias, significant district-scale exploration potential in a prolific copper-producing region at the intersection of major porphyry belts, and a 2023 Preliminary Economic Assessment outlining a combined open pit and bulk underground mine with low initial capital, over three billion pounds of payable copper production across a 32-year mine life, and plans to expand throughput from 30,000 to 45,000 tonnes per day to boost annual copper output from 50,000 to 75,000 tonnes. The Contact Copper project represents a pre-feasibility stage copper oxide opportunity on approximately 21 square kilometers of private property in northern Nevada. Faraday Copper Corp. was incorporated in 2014, formerly known as CopperBank Resources Corp. until its name change in April 2022, and maintains headquarters at Suite 2800, 1055 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Recent developments include the July 2025 closing of a C$48.77 million bought deal and non-brokered financing led by underwriters such as Ventum Financial Corp., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Haywood Securities Inc., and TD Securities Inc., with participation from the Lundin Family Trusts and over-allotment exercise, to fund Copper Creek exploration, development, and working capital; acquisition of the Mercer Ranch land package for US$10 million to consolidate 6,000 deeded acres within 32,000 acres surrounding Copper Creek; Bureau of Land Management approval for the Copper Creek Exploration Plan of Operations in July 2025; and ongoing Phase 3 and planned Phase 4 drilling programs intersecting near-surface supergene mineralization, high-grade zones at breccias such as Banjo, Boomerang, Winchester, Globe, and Copper Giant, and expansions in the American Eagle area and Sunrise Trend, alongside positive metallurgical results confirming high copper recovery via coarse grind and flotation.
