Manganese X Energy Corp. (TSXV:MN) is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing manganese projects to supply high-purity, EV-compliant manganese for lithium-ion batteries and other alternative energy applications; it also explores copper, nickel, cobalt and iron ore deposits. The company's principal asset is the Battery Hill Manganese property, comprising 55 claims covering 1,228 hectares in Carlton County, southwestern New Brunswick, which encompasses five manganese zones including Iron Ore Hill, Moody Hill, Sharpe Farm, Wakefield and Maple Hill; additional properties include the Peter Lake copper-nickel-cobalt project in Quebec spanning 2,568 hectares and the Lac Aux Bouleaux property. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Disruptive Battery Corp., Manganese X develops battery technologies and HVAC systems for air disinfection. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, the company targets North American markets to provide ethically sourced materials amid rising demand for manganese in electric vehicles, energy storage and steel production. Recent developments include the launch of a pre-feasibility study (PFS) for Battery Hill in December 2025 with ABH Engineering and GEMTEC, targeting completion in 2026; a $2.1 million private placement in early 2025 led by investor Eric Sprott, who became a control person; positive Phase 2 battery test results in September 2025 showing 70% capacity retention after 4,600 cycles with U.S. partner C4V, advancing to Phase 3; and Phase 2 ore-sorting results in August 2025 achieving an 80% mill feed upgrade to reduce costs ahead of the PFS.
