Business
Quartz Mountain Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring, developing and transacting high-value gold, silver and copper deposits in British Columbia. The company holds a 100% interest in the Jake Porphyry Copper-Gold-Silver Property, comprising 12 contiguous mineral claims covering approximately 3,381 hectares located 160 km north of Smithers in north-central British Columbia; the Maestro High Grade Gold-Silver Property, consisting of 13 contiguous mineral claims spanning 2,309 hectares situated 15 km north of Houston and 50 km south of Smithers in central British Columbia with access via Highway 16; and the Troy Property in central British Columbia approximately 170 km northeast of Smithers. Incorporated in 1982 and headquartered at 1040 West Georgia Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Quartz Mountain operates exclusively in Canada and maintains an association with Hunter Dickinson Inc., a diversified global mining firm with a track record of advancing porphyry deposits such as Mount Milligan, Kemess South and Gibraltar in British Columbia. Recent discoveries include a new copper-gold-silver porphyry system at the Jake Property confirmed by a maiden seven-hole scout drill program totaling 3,418 metres in 2024, prompting the acquisition of additional mineral tenures over an expanded porphyry district; a substantial high-grade gold-silver system at the Prodigy zone on the Maestro Property; and the consolidation of the Maestro land package through purchases of the Lone Pine and North claims adding 169 hectares. In March 2025, the company closed a $4.2 million equity financing to fund delineation drilling at Maestro's Prodigy discovery commencing in Q1 2025, followed by Jake delineation, while securing BC Mines Act permits for approximately 50 drill sites at each project; its shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under QZM.V and OTCQB under QZMRF.
