Business
Vizsla Copper Corp. (TSXV:VCU) is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company focused on copper, gold and molybdenum (Cu-Au-Mo) properties in British Columbia and Alaska; it engages in the acquisition, exploration and advancement of mineral assets, including porphyry, volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) and other deposit types. The company holds 100% interest in its flagship Woodjam project, a large copper-gold porphyry deposit covering 90,163 hectares in the Quesnel Terrane, south-central British Columbia, approximately 55 kilometers east of Williams Lake; Woodjam features significant resources and ongoing drill programs at targets like Southeast Deerhorn. Additional properties include the Poplar copper-gold project (39,000 hectares, near Huckleberry Mine), Copperview (37,466 hectares along trend from notable discoveries), Redgold (8,278 hectares contiguous with Mount Polley and Woodjam) and, most recently, the advanced-stage Palmer VMS critical minerals project in southeast Alaska with high-grade copper-zinc-silver-gold-barite intercepts, road access to tidewater and over US$116 million previously invested. Founded in 2017 and headquartered at 595 Burrard Street, Suite 1723, Vancouver, British Columbia, Vizsla Copper operates primarily in Canada with emerging U.S. exposure targeting mining-friendly jurisdictions and infrastructure-rich areas. Recent developments include the November 2025 announcement and December 2025 closing of the $15 million equity acquisition of the Palmer project from American Pacific Mining Corp., plus up to $15 million in milestone payments; a concurrent non-brokered private placement upsized to $44 million to fund 2026 exploration; and 2025 drilling successes at Poplar's Thira discovery with intercepts such as 345.3 meters of 0.43% CuEq, 264 meters of 0.43% CuEq in step-outs and 237 meters of 0.51% CuEq, alongside soil anomaly extensions and IP advancements across its BC portfolio.
