The company's product portfolio comprises worsted yarns, including all-wool yarns, polyester-wool blended yarns, and specialized knitwear yarns; synthetic yarns, including polyester-viscose fiber-dyed yarns, 100% polyester yarns, and 100% viscose yarns; wool products, such as raw white and dyed merino wool tops, polyester-wool blended re-combed tops, wool grease, and various grades of wool noil; chemical byproducts, notably refined lanolin generated during wool scouring; and consumer apparel, including premium innerwear marketed under the proprietary HiFlyer brand. Modern Threads serves industrial textile, suiting, knitwear, carpet, and personal care manufacturers across India and exports to over 25 international markets across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, maintaining certifications under the Responsible Wool Standard and Global Recycled Standard.
In recent operational and strategic developments, Modern Threads (India) Ltd completed the divestment of its Gajroula production unit to optimize its manufacturing footprint and enhance operational efficiency. The company also established a dedicated sourcing office in Surat, Gujarat, to strengthen its procurement network for man-made fiber-based fabrics. In a major manufacturing expansion, the company initiated construction and commenced production at a new manufacturing facility in West Bengal. In addition, the company expanded its consumer-facing business with the launch of the HiFlyer premium innerwear line and executed broad operational restructuring and cost-rationalization programs to improve capacity utilization and financial stability.
