- Nirman Agri Genetics Ltd (NIRMAN.NS) is an agricultural input company that produces, processes, and markets high-quality hybrid seeds, bio-organics, pesticides, micronutrients, bio-pesticides, bio-fertilizers, and plant growth regulators for crops including corn, sunflower, cotton, paddy, bajra, sorghum, tomato, okra, capsicum, and gourds; it also develops non-hybrid seeds and focuses on superior breeding programs and biotechnology tools to create seeds with enhanced yield potential, drought tolerance, and resistance to pests and diseases. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Nashik, Maharashtra, the company maintains production, processing, outsourced processing, and R&D facilities across Maharashtra (Nashik and Nimgul), Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, with a marketing network spanning these regions to serve farmers directly and through farmer producer companies. Initially operating as a proprietary concern from 2018 under the 'Fortuner' seed brand, it converted to a public limited company in December 2022 and listed on the NSE Emerge platform in 2023.
In recent developments, Nirman Agri Genetics signed a Rs 25 crore memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gurusiddhi Farmer Producer Company Limited in March 2024 to supply seeds, pesticides, and new technologies to 12,500 farmer groups, followed by another five-year MoU with Grandcrop Farmer Producer Company Limited in July 2025 for seed production valued at Rs 10 crore. The company proposed a 1:10 stock split and 1:10 bonus issue, approved by shareholders in November 2025, alongside increasing authorized capital to Rs 90 crore, though a SEBI order temporarily halted related actions; it also withdrew its bonus application during the H1 2025 board meeting. These strategic alliances and corporate actions support its expansion into comprehensive crop solutions, minimizing reliance on single crops while enhancing distribution to target farmer markets in western and central India.
