- PTC Industries Limited manufactures and sells high-precision metal castings and components for critical and super-critical applications. Its core offerings include stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, nickel, cobalt alloys, non-alloy steel castings, machined components, and fabricated parts. The company caters to multiple sectors such as oil and gas, aerospace, defense, marine, pulp and paper, petrochemical, power plants and turbines, valves and flow control, mining and earth moving machinery. It uses advanced casting technologies like Replicast, RapidCast, ForgeCAST, Centrifugal Castings, and Titanium Powder casting. The aerospace segment features titanium and superalloy castings manufactured through its wholly owned subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies Limited, which serves both domestic and international aerospace and defense markets. PTC operates primarily in India, with exports constituting over 75% of its revenue to countries worldwide.
Founded in 1961 and headquartered in Lucknow, India, PTC Industries has over 60 years of manufacturing experience. The company has three fully equipped plants with high automation and technology integration. It has recently expanded its manufacturing footprint with a state-of-the-art facility in Lucknow, part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, to house vertically integrated titanium and superalloy production, including a newly acquired hot rolling mill from the USA. This acquisition enables production of titanium alloy plates and sheets tailored for aerospace and defense sectors. PTC has also secured significant contracts with global defense players like Israel Aerospace Industries and BAE Systems. Additionally, PTC signed a joint venture MoU with Bharat Dynamics to manufacture propulsion systems, guided bombs, and aero-engines for missiles and UAVs, reinforcing its strategic move towards indigenous defense technology production.
The company is noted for its commitment to technological advancement, quality certifications including AS9100 and NADCAP in aerospace, and its strategic expansions and partnerships aimed at capturing growing markets in aerospace, defense, renewable energy, and critical industrial applications. PTC’s ability to produce specialized castings and fabricated parts with high metallurgical precision positions it as a key player in sectors requiring reliable, advanced engineering components.
