Business
Synergy CHC Corp. is a consumer health, wellness, and beauty company that develops, markets, and distributes a diversified portfolio of branded over-the-counter dietary supplements, functional beverages, skincare, and personal care products. The company operates through a multi-channel commercial model, serving consumers across North America and select international markets via direct-to-consumer digital storefronts, e-commerce marketplaces, club store chains, mass merchandisers, pharmacies, and specialty retail channels. The company categorizes its commercial offerings across distinct consumer healthcare and lifestyle product lines: Cognitive Health and Functional Nutrition: FOCUSfactor branded brain health dietary supplements, including original formulation tablets, extra strength supplements, brain and vision support capsules, and chewable gummies formulated with vitamins, minerals, and neuro-nutrients to enhance memory, concentration, and focus; FOCUSfactor functional energy and cognitive performance ready-to-drink beverages; and targeted pediatric brain health formulas. Weight Management and Womens Wellness: Flat Tummy branded lifestyle and nutritional products, including herbal detox and cleanse teas; meal replacement protein shakes; apple cider vinegar gummies; appetite control and metabolism booster supplements; and branded fitness accessories and apparel. Specialized Skincare and Anti-Aging Formulations: Hand MD branded cosmeceutical skincare treatments, including anti-aging hand serums, restorative creams, daily cleansers, and hydrating hand masks engineered to target sun damage, volume loss, and skin aging; along with historical personal care and beauty lines including Sneaky Vaunt, Perfekt Beauty, and The Queen Pegasus. Topical Relief and Specialty Healthcare: Neuragen branded topical homeopathic pain management formulations designed to relieve nerve-related and neuropathic pain; and UrgentRx single-dose powdered over-the-counter pharmaceutical remedies packaged in portable formats for fast relief. Founded in 2010 as Synergy Strips Corp. before adopting its current corporate name in August 2015, Synergy CHC Corp. is headquartered in Windham, Maine. The company distributes its products through major retail partners, including Amazon, Walmart, Costco Wholesale, BJs Wholesale Club, Target, and Walgreens, as well as its proprietary brand websites. In recent corporate developments, Synergy CHC Corp. initiated voluntary reorganization proceedings under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in September 2026 to restructure its debt obligations and capital structure following liquidity constraints and credit facility defaults. As part of this process, the company transitioned its public trading from the Nasdaq Capital Market, where it previously traded under the ticker symbol SNYR, to the OTC Pink Market under the ticker symbol SNYRQ. Concurrently, management has undertaken strategic operational reviews, realigning marketing investments to focus on expanding the distribution of its flagship FOCUSfactor brain health and functional beverage portfolio while assessing strategic alternatives for its legacy direct-to-consumer wellness brands.
