- PTX Metals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of critical-mineral and precious-metal properties in Northern Ontario, Canada. The Company’s principal activities comprise exploration for copper, nickel, platinum-group elements, gold, cobalt and related mineralization; diamond drilling; geological, geophysical, geochemical and metallurgical studies; resource-target modeling; claim acquisition and property optioning; permitting; and community and Indigenous engagement. Its principal assets include the wholly owned W2 Copper-Nickel-PGE Project, located near the gateway to Ontario’s Ring of Fire, where it is advancing copper-nickel-PGE-gold exploration through drilling, soil sampling, prospecting, airborne and ground geophysics, metallurgy and resource-estimation work; the 75%-owned Shining Tree Gold Project in the Timmins Gold Camp, including the Ronda target; and the Heenan-Mallard gold property in the Swayze/Abitibi region. PTX Metals also maintains an equity interest in Green Canada Uranium Corp., a uranium-focused company formed through Green Canada Corporation’s transaction with MAACKK Capital Corp. and the acquisition of the Marshall uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin. The Company was incorporated in 1998, was formerly known as Platinex Inc. until its February 2024 name change, and is headquartered at The Exchange Tower, 130 King Street West, Suite 3680, Toronto, Ontario. Recent developments include the resumption in September 2026 of a 5,000-metre diamond-drilling program at W2’s CA1 Zone following engagement with First Nations; reported locked-cycle metallurgical test results indicating 97% copper recovery at W2 in August 2026; commencement of drilling at Shining Tree’s Ronda target in June 2026; receipt of an exploration permit for W2; completion of a private placement financing in 2026; adoption of semi-annual financial reporting; and the completion of the Green Canada transaction, which created Green Canada Uranium Corp.
