Business
Quest Oil Corporation Quest Oil Corporation (QOIL) engages in the acquisition, development, production, and exploration of crude oil and natural gas properties primarily in the United States and Canada, with oil and gas lands in the Warner, South Taber, and Diamond regions of southern Alberta; the company also trades a diverse portfolio of energy commodities including crude oil, refined oil products, petrochemicals, natural gas, LNG, power, coal, carbon emissions, freight, iron ore, base metals, and lithium energy products sourced worldwide. Operations span North America, Europe, the Middle East, and global markets, with trading activities supported by relationships with refineries in the UAE and Europe, terminals, ports, and tank farms in Houston and Berlin. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Kerrville, Texas, Quest Oil Corporation formerly known as GameState Entertainment, Inc., changed its name in September 2004. In March 2025, Quest Oil Corporation acquired Skycom Mobile Inc., a mobile telecom operator based in Watertown, South Dakota, marking a strategic pivot from the oil and gas sector to mobile telecommunications; the acquisition includes exclusive rights to patented iPass Switchboard technology that enables seamless switching between 4G/5G, satellite, and free Wi-Fi connectivity for optimal quality and cost efficiency. The company plans to rebrand as Skycom, Inc., launch eSIM services for enterprises and consumers in Q4 2025, and raise $5 million in an initial funding round for platform and brand development, followed by additional financing for operations and marketing. Markwin Maring, Skycom Mobile's founder, assumed the role of Chairman while managing daily operations.
