In recent developments, Repsol advances its 2024-2027 strategic plan with over 16 billion euros in net investments, more than 35% allocated to low-carbon initiatives such as renewables in Spain, the US, Chile, and Italy; it completed a partnership with Stonepeak in April 2025 for a US solar and storage portfolio, marking its first renewables asset rotation in the US market and the sixth such transaction since 2021, alongside alliances with Crédit Agricole Assurances and EIP; additionally, in March 2025, Repsol acquired a 40% stake in Unioil Lubricants Inc. to expand lubricants production and market presence in Asia, complementing prior joint ventures with Bardahl in Mexico and United Oil in Singapore.
