Business
PNE Industries Ltd is a Singapore-based investment holding company primarily engaged in the provision of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and the manufacture and distribution of emergency lighting systems and electrical products. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Singapore, the company operates across two core business segments: Contract Manufacturing and Emergency Lighting. Through its Contract Manufacturing division, the company provides comprehensive turnkey original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original design manufacturing (ODM) solutions; offering printed circuit board assembly (PCBA); surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole insertion; box-build assembly; and customized testing services for electronic controllers, home appliance modules, audio-visual components, remote control units, timer devices, and industrial electronic sub-assemblies. Through its Emergency Lighting division, the company designs, manufactures, and distributes emergency luminaires; self-contained illuminated exit signs; emergency conversion power packs; central battery emergency systems; LED safety fittings; and specialized hazardous-location lighting fixtures marketed primarily under its proprietary PNE and LITELIGHT brand names. The company serves commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure clients across Singapore, Malaysia, the People's Republic of China, Japan, Europe, and North America, supported by principal operating subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities including PNE Electric Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia and PNE Electronics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in China. In recent operational developments, PNE Industries Ltd has executed strategic automation upgrades across its manufacturing plants, deploying automated surface-mount lines and digital quality inspection infrastructure to optimize production yields. The group has also expanded its product portfolio with the rollout of intelligent addressable central monitoring emergency lighting systems and IoT-integrated, energy-efficient LED fixtures tailored to international green building regulations, while advancing supply chain diversification initiatives to strengthen operational resilience and broaden its customer base in industrial automation and smart home applications.
