Business
GRP Limited is an investment holding and property development company headquartered in Singapore, operating primarily in real estate development, property investment, and the distribution of precision metrology and measuring instruments across Southeast Asia and East Asia. Founded in 1977 and listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange (SGX: BLU), the group operates through two primary business divisions: Property and Measuring Instruments. Through its property development division, GRP Limited focuses on the acquisition, development, trading, and management of residential and mixed property projects across Singapore, Malaysia, and the People's Republic of China, catering to residential buyers and commercial real estate investors. Through its metrology subsidiary, Region Suppliers (Pte) Ltd, and its Malaysian operating unit Region Suppliers Sdn. Bhd., the company distributes and services high-precision measurement and testing equipment for clients in the precision engineering, automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, biomedical, and energy sectors; its comprehensive product portfolio comprises dimensional measuring instruments, including digital calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, depth gauges, and linear scales; force and torque testing solutions, including digital force gauges, torque analyzers, tension testers, and motorized test stands; optical inspection apparatus, including video measuring systems, profile projectors, microscopes, and surface roughness testers; environmental testing and electronic measurement devices; and specialized metrology software and calibration artifacts. To complement its distribution operations, the group operates an accredited Technical Service Department offering laboratory and on-site instrument calibration, preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and metrology consultancy services. In recent strategic developments, GRP Limited has executed operational reorganizations to streamline operations and refocus capital on core commercial activities. In August 2024, the group completed the divestment of the business assets, inventories, goodwill, and customer contracts of its subsidiary GRP Pte. Ltd. to Lian Ee Hydraulics Pte Ltd, marking the formal discontinuation and exit from its historical Hose and Marine business. In October 2025, the group implemented the GRP Employee Share Option Scheme 2025 and the GRP Performance Share Plan 2025 to align executive remuneration with shareholder value creation. In January 2026, GRP Limited entered into a non-binding heads of agreement for the proposed strategic acquisition of Bintan Investment Management Pte Ltd to broaden its regional real estate investment portfolio, while concurrently allowing an exploratory agreement in China to lapse in order to refocus resources on higher-conviction property and metrology assets.
