Business
CH Offshore Ltd. is a Singapore-based investment holding company and offshore marine logistics provider that owns, charters, and operates offshore support vessels serving the global oil and gas industry. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Singapore, the company operates as a subsidiary of Baker Technology Limited and primarily serves upstream exploration and production companies, offshore drilling contractors, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, as well as national and international energy companies. The company operates through two main business segments: Vessel Chartering and Ship Management. Its core products and services include the ownership and chartering of anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels ranging from 5,150 to 12,240 brake horsepower (BHP); vessel chartering on time charter, bareboat, and spot employment arrangements; towing and positioning of mobile offshore drilling units, jack-up rigs, semi-submersibles, and barges; anchor handling and mooring operations for offshore installations; offshore supply and transportation of deck cargo, fuel, drill water, liquid mud, and dry bulk materials to offshore production platforms; emergency rescue, safety standby, and oil spill response operations; pipe-laying and subsea construction support; third-party technical and commercial ship management; crew management and marine manning; and ship agency and logistics coordination. The company maintains operational reach across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. In recent developments, CH Offshore Ltd. has advanced strategic fleet redeployment and optimization initiatives, securing multi-year charter contracts for its high-specification AHTS fleet in the Middle East and Southeast Asian offshore basins to capitalize on tightened vessel supply and increased exploration and production activity. In addition, the company has expanded its third-party vessel management operations, strengthened operational synergies with its parent company Baker Technology Limited, and implemented operational efficiency programs aimed at improving fleet utilization rates, balance sheet strength, and compliance with international offshore marine safety and decarbonization standards.
