- Trans-China Automotive Holdings Limited is an investment holding company and automotive dealership group primarily engaged in the distribution, retail, and servicing of premium and ultra-premium passenger vehicles in the People's Republic of China. Founded in 2009 and dual-headquartered in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, the company operates authorized 4S (sales, spare parts, service, and survey) dealership facilities, urban showrooms, and service centers across major metropolitan markets in mainland China, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Changsha, Wuhan, and Chongqing. The company's core operations are structured into three principal business segments: Automobile Sales, After-Sales Services, and Automobile Agency Services. Under its Automobile Sales segment, the company retails new passenger vehicles representing premium, luxury, and high-performance marques, including BMW, MINI, McLaren, Lotus, and Genesis; and distributes certified pre-owned automobiles alongside vehicle valuation and trade-in solutions. Through its After-Sales Services segment, the company provides comprehensive technical support and vehicle care, comprising scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnostic inspection, powertrain and electrical repairs, collision repair, and customized paintwork; and retails original equipment manufacturer replacement parts, performance components, tires, lubricants, vehicle care products, and branded merchandise. Through its Automobile Agency Services segment, the group provides customer-oriented ancillary services, including vehicle title and license registration processing; administration and arrangement of third-party consumer auto loans and vehicle lease financing; facilitation and brokerage of motor vehicle insurance policies; and retail distribution of extended service contracts and roadside assistance packages. In recent corporate and operational developments, Trans-China Automotive has implemented network optimization and dealership rationalization initiatives to adapt to structural shifts in the Chinese automotive industry, including restructuring retail footprints by ceasing new car sales at select locations such as its BMW dealership in Guangzhou to concentrate resources on high-margin after-sales servicing. Concurrently, the group has diversified its brand portfolio with dedicated luxury electric vehicle offerings from brands including Lotus and Genesis, broadened customer acquisition through digital livestreaming and mobile customer relationship management channels, and completed a renounceable non-underwritten rights issue to bolster its balance sheet liquidity, optimize working capital, and support ongoing operational flexibility.
