Business
Dierig Holding AG, a Germany-based holding company founded in 1805 and headquartered in Augsburg, operates two primary segments: textiles and real estate. The textile division, a market leader in the German-speaking region, produces and distributes branded bed linen under the fleuresse and Kaeppel brands through subsidiaries fleuresse GmbH and Adam Kaeppel GmbH; trades internationally in raw and finished fabrics of various qualities; develops and sells technical textiles; and supplies contract textiles for hotels, hospitals, care facilities, and other institutional customers, with sales in Germany, rest of Europe, Austria, Switzerland, and export markets via entities including Bimatex Textil-Marketing- und Vertriebs-GmbH and Austrian operations featuring its own sewing facility. The real estate division manages, leases, develops, and markets an extensive portfolio of approximately 482,000 square meters of land and 147,000 square meters of building space at locations in Augsburg, Gersthofen, and Kempten, originating from historical textile production sites; it pursues targeted acquisitions to reinvest capital gains and recently prepares new residential units for occupancy at year-end. Recent developments include improved full-year 2024 results despite challenging market conditions, with announcement of a higher dividend; stable sales but enhanced profitability in the first half of 2024; a revenue decline and lowered earnings forecast for 2025 due to weak consumer sentiment and customer insolvencies as of October 2025; completion of a CO2 footprint assessment in partnership with DFGE; and support for regional climate neutrality initiatives through A³ klimaneutral.
