Recent advancements include commercialization of high-carbon steel TOUGHFIT with improved hardness-toughness balance; ECOMAX5 steel for simplified parts manufacturing; high-purity spherical silicon powder; and metal powders for die-casting molds with superior thermal conductivity; alongside SBT certification for GHG reduction targets; solar power commencement at Himeji Works; and TPG certification as supplier for wind turbine components.
