Business
Texas Mineral Resources Corp. is an exploration-stage mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in the United States, with a primary focus on rare earth elements, technology metals, and industrial minerals. The company holds a 19-year renewable lease from the State of Texas on 950 acres for its flagship Round Top project in Hudspeth County, approximately 85 miles southeast of El Paso, which contains heavy rare earths, uranium, and beryllium deposits; it also maintains prospecting permits on adjacent areas covering 9,345 acres and has acquired additional surrounding acreage. In December 2024, Texas Mineral Resources acquired the historic Carlisle mine in New Mexico's Steeple Rock district, comprising four patented mining claims totaling 63 acres with past gold, copper, lead, and zinc production; the company pursues this alongside its joint venture with USA Rare Earth, in which it holds an approximate 19.3% interest in the Round Top heavy rare earth, technology metals, and industrial minerals project. Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Sierra Blanca, Texas, the company operates through the OTCQB market under the ticker TMRC and targets domestic critical mineral supply chains for defense, technology, renewable energy, and petroleum refining industries.
