Nissin Shoji Co., Ltd. engages primarily in the sale and distribution of petroleum products and energy-related solutions in Japan and select Asian markets. The company offers a diverse portfolio of core products and services, including gasoline, kerosene, light oil, heavy oil, and petrochemical products; renewable energy solutions such as solar power equipment, biomass power generation fuels like palm kernel shells and empty fruit bunches pellets, and electricity from its own NSM Suwa Solar Power Station; industrial petroleum products, lubricants, and fuel oils; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), general household gas, industrial gas, propane gas, water heaters, built-in stoves, and industrial boilers; synthetic resin raw materials, packaging and packing materials, non-woven materials, and reflectors; agricultural materials including covering materials and greenhouses; and operational support for directly operated service stations providing car wash, vehicle inspection, insurance, car sales, leasing, rentals, and energy-saving solutions. It also provides real estate rental for office buildings, stores, and residences; distribution materials; and gas peripherals. Founded in 1950 as a spin-off from the trading division of Nissin Corporation and headquartered in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, Nissin Shoji operates through four main segments—Oil, LPG & Chemicals, Real Estate, and Others—serving industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural customers primarily in Japan with expansions into Malaysia and Vietnam via subsidiaries like NISTRADE (M) SDN. BHD. Recent developments include strengthened sustainable energy initiatives with biomass fuel production and sales, agricultural expansions into automated plant factories, and Asian market growth to support rising energy demands, alongside ongoing enhancements to its service station network and real estate portfolio including the EDIAN rental apartment brand.
