In July 2024, the Chemicals segment acquired the remaining 50% joint venture interest in Louisiana Pigment Company, L.P. (LPC) from Venator Investments, Ltd., resulting in full ownership, a $64.5 million non-cash gain, enhanced TiO2 production capacity, and improved utilization rates to 92-93% in 2024.
