Business
Vossloh AG Vossloh AG is a Germany-based global technology company specializing in rail infrastructure products and services. Founded in 1883 and headquartered in Werdohl, Germany, the company operates through three core divisions—Core Components, Customized Modules, and Lifecycle Solutions—serving public and private railway operators, network operators, and transport companies in more than 100 countries with production sites in nearly 30 countries. Its main products and services include rail fastening systems such as screw-fastened elastic tension clamps for ballasted and slab tracks, high-speed lines, heavy-haul, and urban applications; concrete sleepers, switch ties, and concrete elements for slab tracks and level crossings; switch systems and crossings encompassing turnouts, manganese frogs, switch blades, actuators, locking devices, signaling products, and rail monitoring systems; as well as lifecycle services like rail grinding, welding, maintenance, inspection, reconditioning, recycling, and digital solutions for track availability and sustainability. Vossloh AG maintains significant operations in key markets including Western Europe, China, the US, Russia, Scandinavia, North America, Australia, and Asia. Recent major developments include the October 2025 completion of its €450 million acquisition of Sateba, a leading European concrete sleepers manufacturer with 19 production sites across ten countries and €350 million in annual sales, enhancing its Tie Technologies unit and European portfolio; the mid-2024 acquisition of Scandinavian Track Group to bolster Lifecycle Solutions with maintenance, welding, and circular economy services in Sweden; and a November 2025 partnership with Athena Industrial Services for advanced digital solutions, alongside updated 2025 guidance projecting consolidated sales of €1.33-1.4 billion and EBIT of €116-126 million post-Sateba integration.
