RTS Power Corporation Limited (RTSPOWR.BO), founded in 1971 and headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, manufactures and sells power and distribution transformers, cables, conductors, and related electrical equipment for power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial applications. The company offers oil-cooled transformers including distribution units from 16 kVA to 2500 kVA at 11/33 kV and power units from 3.15 MVA to 55 MVA at 11-132 kV class; dry-type transformers from 10 kVA to 2500 kVA; single-phase and wound core type transformers up to 200 kVA; XLPE/PVC insulated low-tension power and control cables; aerial bunch cables; railway signaling cables; advanced conductors such as AAAC and ACSR; galvanized iron wires and strips through its wholly owned subsidiary Reengus Wires Private Limited; and compact substations as a licensee of Siemens Ltd. It operates six manufacturing units across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Maharashtra, including wind energy divisions, serving domestic clients like NTPC, PGCIL, Indian Railways, and MES, with exports primarily to East and West Africa; all facilities adhere to ISO 9001, BIS, and IEC standards. Recent developments include stabilization and capacity expansion at Reengus Wires through capex for downstream production to capitalize on India's RDSS projects driving demand for cables and conductors; introduction of compact substations to penetrate the industrial segment; re-appointment of Rajendra Bhutoria as Vice-Chairman and Whole-time Director effective April 2025; and new independent directors appointed in 2023, amid consolidated net profit of Rs. 4.13 crore for FY2024 despite revenue pressures from export shortfalls.
