Business
Susan Electricals India Limited is an India-based electrical equipment manufacturing company primarily engaged in the design, development, and production of aluminium- and copper-based electrical conductors, winding wires, and power transmission cables. The company operates through two core business segments: Cables, and Winding Wires and Conductors. Its comprehensive product portfolio comprises low tension (LT) power and control cables; LT aerial bunched (AB) cables up to 1.1 kV; high tension (HT) power distribution cables for underground utility networks; medium voltage covered conductors (MVCC) for insulated overhead power lines; super enamelled copper and aluminium winding wires; paper-covered (including double paper covered and multi paper covered) copper and aluminium strips; bare aluminium conductors, including all aluminium conductors (AAC), aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), and all aluminium alloy conductors (AAAC); and specialized electrical conductor assemblies for power utilities. The company caters to state-owned power distribution companies (DISCOMs), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, transformer manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and private infrastructure developers throughout India. The company operates manufacturing facilities located across the Sahibabad industrial area in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and maintains its registered headquarters in New Delhi, India. Originally incorporated in 2007 as Suvish Insulation Private Limited, the company transitioned to Susan Electricals India Private Limited in 2010, subsequently converted into a public limited entity, and adopted its current name in December 2025. In recent major corporate developments, the company successfully completed its initial public offering (IPO) on the BSE SME platform in June 2026, raising approximately INR 70.38 crore in fresh capital and offer-for-sale proceeds to finance the expansion of its Sahibabad manufacturing capacity, support working capital requirements, and strengthen corporate operations. In conjunction with this public listing, the company has executed a strategic shift to expand its production mix toward high-margin product categories, specifically scaling the manufacture of HT cables and MVCC systems to meet growing demand from national grid modernization and electrification infrastructure projects.
