City Holding Company (CHCO), a West Virginia corporation headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia, operates as the financial holding company for City National Bank of West Virginia, which provides diversified banking, trust, investment management, and other financial solutions to consumers, local businesses, and industries across West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, and Ohio. The bank offers deposit products including checking, savings, and money market accounts; certificates of deposit; and individual retirement accounts; as well as credit products such as commercial and industrial loans to small- and mid-size companies, commercial real estate loans secured by nonresidential and multi-family properties, residential real estate loans, home equity loans and lines of credit, consumer loans secured by automobiles, boats, recreational vehicles, and other personal property, and demand deposit account overdrafts; alongside mortgage banking, wealth management, trust services, securities brokerage, insurance, and overdraft facilities. Founded in 1957, the company maintains 94 branches serving community banking needs in its core markets. In September 2025, City Holding increased its quarterly common stock dividend by 10% to $0.87 per share from $0.79, payable October 31 to shareholders of record on October 15, reflecting strong capital position and sustained 2025 financial performance that delivered record Q3 results with return on assets of 2.11% and return on tangible equity of 22.5%; earlier in 2024, it approved a share repurchase program for up to 1,000,000 shares.
