Business
Electro Cable Egypt S.A.E. is an Egypt-based manufacturer and distributor of electrical power and telecommunication cables, serving public utilities, industrial enterprises, civil infrastructure developers, and telecommunications operators. Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Mostorod, Qalyubia Governorate, Egypt, the company operates as a core industrial manufacturing asset within the Pioneers Properties for Urban Development group network. The company manufactures and supplies a comprehensive portfolio of power transmission and distribution solutions structured into specialized product categories: low-voltage energy cables, including single-core and multi-core polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated building wires, flexible cables, control cables, and armoured distribution cables; medium- and high-voltage power cables, comprising XLPE-insulated and lead-sheathed underground transmission cables rated up to 66 kV; overhead transmission line conductors, encompassing bare copper conductors, all-aluminum conductors (AAC), aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) lines, and all-aluminum alloy conductors (AAAC); telecommunication and data cables, including multipair copper telephone cables, local area network (LAN) cables, coaxial lines, and fiber-optic communication systems; and specialty application cables, featuring fire-resistant and halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) cables, specialized photovoltaic (PV) solar cables, and submersible pump cables. In addition to primary manufacturing, the company provides cable system engineering, technical inspection, quality testing, and project delivery advisory services. Electro Cable Egypt maintains extensive commercial coverage throughout Egypt and exports to markets across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Sub-Saharan Africa. In recent strategic developments, the company has executed targeted capital investments to modernize its Mostorod production facilities, expanding manufacturing throughput for high-voltage transmission lines and advanced renewable energy cabling to supply regional solar and wind energy projects. Furthermore, Electro Cable Egypt has strengthened long-term procurement partnerships with state electricity authorities and regional infrastructure contractors, while expanding its export footprint across neighboring Arab and African markets to capitalize on growing electrical grid interconnection and modernization initiatives.
