FRTEK Co., Ltd. is a South Korean telecommunications equipment manufacturer specializing in the research, development, production, and installation of wireless network infrastructure solutions and energy-efficient LED lighting systems. Founded in October 2000 and headquartered in Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates primarily across three core business divisions: Wireless Communications Equipment, Energy Solutions, and Information and Communication Construction. The company is publicly traded on the KOSDAQ market of the Korea Exchange under the ticker symbol 073540. The company's core product and service portfolio encompasses advanced mobile communication coverage and transmission equipment, including 5G millimeter-wave (mmWave) repeaters marketed under the PrimAer brand; 28GHz wireless radio frequency (RF) repeaters; single-operator and multi-operator digital Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS); analog Intermediate Frequency over Fiber (IFoF) in-building DAS solutions; Interference Cancellation System (ICS) repeaters; optical repeaters for 5G, LTE, and multi-band networks; Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) interface systems; and custom telecommunication components. Through its Energy division, the company manufactures and supplies eco-friendly LED lighting products under the Lucius brand, offering indoor, outdoor, and industrial LED luminaires; wireless sensor-integrated dimming systems; smart central lighting management solutions; and proprietary thermal management components. In addition, FRTEK provides comprehensive telecommunications network engineering and infrastructure construction services, as well as commercial property leasing operations. FRTEK serves mobile network operators, government agencies, enterprise clients, and commercial developers across domestic and international markets. The company supports its overseas business activities through regional operating subsidiaries, including FRTek USA, LLC, based in Fremont, California, to serve North American carriers, and FRTek Japan Inc., located in Tokyo, Japan, to manage regional customer accounts and technical support. In recent operational developments, FRTEK secured a KRW 5.58 billion supply contract with KT Corporation in August 2026 to manufacture and deliver 5G optical repeaters, representing over 22% of the company's prior-year consolidated revenue. The company has also continued to advance its corporate value enhancement initiatives, expand its commercial rollouts of mmWave repeaters and O-RAN-compatible network hardware, and deepen technical and supply relationships with major global and domestic telecommunications service providers, including KT and Verizon.
