Business
TWIM Corp. is a South Korea-based technology company that specializes in artificial intelligence (AI) machine vision solutions, optical inspection equipment, and smart factory automation systems. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company develops, manufactures, and deploys integrated hardware and software platforms designed to automate quality inspection processes and optimize manufacturing workflows. TWIM Corp. serves diverse high-tech and industrial manufacturing sectors, including secondary battery and electric vehicle components, semiconductors, flat-panel displays, solar photovoltaic modules, automotive parts, tires, food and beverage packaging, chemicals, and precision metal products. The company operates through specialized business divisions focused on AI vision software, automated optical inspection equipment, and industrial robotics integration. Its core product and service portfolio comprises: MOAI (Machine Learning Optical AI), a proprietary deep learning-based vision inspection software suite engineered for surface defect detection, classification, and complex visual analysis; T-MEGA, a family of customized AI-integrated vision inspection machinery tailored for pouch-type and cylindrical secondary battery cells, display panels, metal components, and container packaging lines; T-MASS, an integrated machine vision standardization system that unifies optical hardware, lighting, camera configurations, and control software to streamline inspection environments across production lines; T-AIS, a modular vision inspection and algorithm management platform; AI Robot Vision systems that combine 3D machine vision and robotic automation for bin picking, component alignment, automated assembly, and logistics sorting; AI-powered site management and facility monitoring solutions that utilize computer vision for real-time anomaly detection, worker safety tracking, and process control; and industrial energy management services aimed at optimizing high-voltage power-receiving facilities. TWIM Corp. maintains international operations through regional subsidiaries and technical support centers located in the United States (Duluth, Georgia), Japan (Kumamoto), Vietnam (Bac Ninh), and India (Noida). In recent operational and strategic developments, TWIM Corp. launched MOAI 6.0, an upgraded version of its flagship deep learning inspection software featuring enhanced defect recognition accuracy, faster image processing speeds, and expanded compatibility with industrial robotics systems. The company expanded its international footprint by establishing a corporate subsidiary in Kumamoto, Japan, to capture growing demand from semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing clusters in the region. Furthermore, TWIM Corp. completed an internal equity consolidation in late 2024 through a transaction in which Chief Executive Officer Han-seop Jung acquired the entire equity stake held by second-largest shareholder Hermes Private Equity, successfully eliminating market overhang concerns and solidifying management control. Building on accelerated sales in North American and Asian electric vehicle battery supply chains, the company was also awarded the Five Million Dollar Export Tower at South Korea's 61st Trade Day ceremony in recognition of its expanding overseas market penetration and global client deployments.
