- Orex Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: REX; OTCQB: ORMNF) is a Canada-based junior mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of precious and base metal properties in Mexico and Canada. The company holds interests in the Sandra silver-gold project, a joint venture with Pan American Silver Corp. located 40 kilometers north of Tepehuanes in Durango State, Mexico; the Jumping Josephine gold project comprising 11,200 hectares in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada, featuring structurally controlled quartz stockwork veining in altered quartz-monzonite; and until recently, the Coneto silver-gold project, a joint venture with Fresnillo plc covering 4,995 hectares of contiguous concessions in the Coneto Mining District within the Mexican Silver Trend, Durango State, Mexico, hosting over 40 epithermal quartz veins with historic high-grade silver and gold mineralization including zones such as Loma Verde, Palma, Sauce, Durazno, Impulsoria and Promontorio. Orex Minerals explores for silver, gold, copper, lead and zinc deposits in epithermal and related systems, targeting junior to mid-tier producers through partnerships with major mining companies; its projects serve institutional investors, joint venture partners and the broader mining industry in North America. Founded in 1996 and headquartered at Suite 1130, 1055 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the company recently entered a binding term sheet on October 27, 2025, to sell its 45% interest in the Coneto silver-gold project to Silver Viper Minerals Corp. (TSX-V: VIPR), subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval and closing by January 2026, providing shareholder liquidity while retaining exposure through equity in Silver Viper and a continued focus on remaining assets like Sandra and Jumping Josephine.
