Prysmian S.p.A. Prysmian S.p.A. manufactures and supplies underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution; medium- and low-voltage cables for construction and infrastructure sectors; specialised cables for industrial applications; and a comprehensive range of optical fibres, copper cables, connectivity systems, and accessories for voice, video, data transmission, and telecommunications networks including FTTH solutions. Prysmian maintains leading positions in cable systems for energy transition, power grids, electrification, digital solutions, and turnkey projects involving land and submarine interconnections. In 2025, Prysmian completes the acquisition of U.S.-based Channell Commercial Corporation for a base price of $950 million, enhancing its Digital Solutions portfolio with thermoplastic enclosures, fiber management, and connectivity components to strengthen North American FTTH, 5G, and data center capabilities; upgrades its full-year guidance following strong Q3 results driven by transmission growth and North American performance; and announces the planned closure of its Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania facility affecting 150 employees between 2026 and 2027.
